Homework Centres

The Pasifika Homework Centre operates in the school library on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.15 until 4.30pm.

Students have access to computers for research purposes, as well as to the library books and libaray staff. Staff from the various faculties provide one-on-one support as required. A roll is kept of all students attending and the Paciic Parents Support Group are liaised with in terms of the Homework Centre's operation.

Over the years we have found that attendance at the Homework Centre has a positive impact on the students' learning in terms of study routines and commitment to their education. The ESOL Homework Centre is held on Thursdays in L6 from 3.15 until 4.00pm.  One-on-one assistance is provided to English Language Learners (migrants, refugees, international students), particularly in Science, Maths, Economics, Accounting.
