Lynfield College Senior School Ball

Our School Ball is a celebratory highlight of the year that has developed an excellent reputation for being enjoyable, well run and trouble-free. This year our School Ball will be held in the Newmarket Room at Ellerslie Event Centre. Dress is formal and the theme is ‘The Last Gamble’.

DATE: Thursday 13 July

TIME: 7.30 pm to 11.45 pm (doors open at 7.00 pm)

TICKETS: $127.00

The ticket price covers venue hire, decorations, music, food, refreshments and photography. Throughout the night photographers will be circulating to take both candid shots and traditional formal photographs. Photobooths will also be provided. Please note that the DJ may use ‘flashing’ lights.

Our Ball Committee is conscious of expenses that can be incurred in preparing for the Ball. Students are encouraged to reduce costs by searching second-hand shops and assisting each other with hair and makeup.

  • Having no more than 5% unjustified absences
  • Meeting our Code of Conduct
  • Having no stand-downs or suspensions in the current year
  • Having paid fees owing to the College
  • Having presented signed and completed permission forms.

Please Note: An application for reconsideration of any of the above conditions may be made to the Principal at the time of ball ticket sales.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Attendance at the Ball is a privilege not a right
  • The Ball is an extra-curriculum event, provided by the College to those students who meet the criteria to attend
  • As this is a school event there is no alcohol, drugs, smoking (including vaping), or any other inappropriate behaviour. Breaches of this behaviour will immediately result in parents/caregivers being contacted to collect their child
  • All students will be security-checked by security staff when they arrive at the venue
  • Lynfield College’s responsibility ceases when students leave the Ball
  • Students have been informed about the conditions and expectations since the start of the year.

As always the safety and wellbeing of our students is paramount. Thank you for your support.
