Learning Assistants / Teacher Aides
TERM-TIME ONLY, FIXED-TERM AND PERMANENT ROLES
We are looking for active, enthusiastic, caring people who have the passion and motivation to work with closely with students that have learning and behaviour difficulties in our collaborative Learning Support Department. Initiative, a sense of humour and experience working with adolescents would be an advantage.
Excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential as is IT competency. Familiarity with NZ sign language, Te Reo Māori, Positive Behaviour Management (PB4L) would also be an advantage. Applicants must have New Zealand residency. The role is subject to a satisfactory Police Vet Check.
The positions are for 31 hours per week, during term time only starting in 2021. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in January.
