We are seeking a part time homestay assistant for 20 hours per week, to join the team in our busy International Office supporting our international students and homestay manager. This role is suited to someone with great interpersonal skills, cultural empathy and an enthusiasm for working with young people.
The successful candidate will have competent administration experience preferably in a school environment. A high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is essential, experience with student management or similar systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are vital in this role.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, supportive bilingual teacher aide to assist Afghani students in their learning. The candidate will be fluent in Dari and English, willing to work closely with the Coordinator for Former Refugees and teachers, and ideally have experience in working with Former Refugees. Duties will include supporting students in class, liaising with parents, interpreting in parent-teacher-student conferences, and assisting with enrolment of new students.
Spoken and written English language skills are essential as is IT competency. Applicants must have New Zealand residency. The role is subject to a satisfactory Police check.
The position is for 16 hours per week, during term time only.
