Faculty Leader Mathematics and Statistics

We are seeking a forward-thinking curriculum leader for our Mathematics and Statistics Faculty starting 28 January 2021. This is a significant opportunity to provide strong leadership to a committed team in a school focused on meeting the needs of all learners and raising achievement.

The successful applicant will be willing to collaborate and explore opportunities to integrate mathematics into other learning areas. They will also enjoy mentoring and developing both students and staff towards success. Applicants must have an in-depth understanding of the New Zealand mathematics curriculum and NCEA teaching experience through to Level 3. The ability to teach Scholarship would be an advantage.

HOD Guidance


2MU, 1MMA

We are seeking a Head of Guidance to join the Student Services Faculty starting on 28 January 2021. This would suit an effective and experienced counsellor who has student voice and choice firmly at the heart of their practice. The successful applicant will need to be able to work proactively to build culturally responsive relationships with students,  whānau, senior leadership and staff.

An interest in innovative school-wide programmes promoting student and staff wellbeing would be valued. NZAC membership is preferred. Commitment to the College's values, and high standards in all aspects of school life is expected, as is involvement with the College's extra-curricular programme.

Learning Assistants / Teacher Aides (5)

PERMANENT (GRADE B-C)

We are looking for active, enthusiastic, caring people who have the passion and motivation to work with closely with students that have learning and behaviour difficulties, in our collaborative Learning Support Department. Initiative, a sense of humour and experience working with adolescents would be an advantage.

Excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential as is IT competency. Familiarity with NZ sign language, Te Reo Māori, Positive Behaviour Management (PB4L) would be an advantage. Applicants must have New Zealand residency. The role is subject to a satisfactory Police check.

The positions are for 31 hours per week, during term time only, commencing in 2021.
