Student Services Receptionist

An exceptional person is sought for the role of Receptionist and Administrator in our Student Services Centre.

The successful applicant must have a genuine interest in supporting young people and their wellbeing, and will be friendly and approachable, to ensure our students and whanau feel welcome and valued. Effective communication, computer and organisational skills are required along with patience, initiative and the ability to problem-solve.

The hours are 30.0 hours per week, 8.30 am to 3.20 pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

Teacher Aides

We are seeking two Teacher Aides for 31 hours per week (5 days a week), term time only for the 2019 year. The successful applicants will work alongside teaching staff to support students with their learning and behavioural needs.

Applicants must be able to work collaboratively, be IT competent and have excellent English verbal and written skills. A full licence and a willingness to drive a school van is also required. Positions will commence as soon as possible upon the completion of a Police Vet check.

Te Reo Māori Language Tutor

We are seeking a part-time Te Reo Māori Language Tutor to join our Language and Languages Faculty starting 28 January 2019.

The successful applicant will be providing instruction for our Year 9 students in Te Reo Māori (language) and Ahurea (culture) for three hours per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Additional hours may be available at a local primary school and/or for Kapa Haka tuition.

A teaching qualification is not required as long as the applicant has suitable skills and is passionate about Te Reo Māori. They will also be inspiring, enthusiastic, collaborative and enjoy mentoring and developing young people.

Commitment to the College's values, and high standards in all aspects of College life is expected.
