The Lynfield College Library and Information Centre welcomes all students.

Our opening hours are: Monday–Friday 8.00am–12.40pm | 1.00pm–3.40pm

The Library is staffed by Zona Whyte (Library Manager), Linda Cutforth and Sireen Abdul-Rahman. Our aim is to foster a love of reading. We strive to create an accessible learning environment in which students can develop an enthusiasm for information and confidence in applying research skills across a wide range of resources and information technologies.

Resources we offer include:

• The Reading Room for all Y9 & Y10 students
• The Seminar Room for multimedia presentations
• 30,000 books to support learning and leisure reading
• A wide range of magazines on topics for learning and leisure
• Access to the EPIC database of NZ and international biographies, magazine and newspaper articles and more
• Computers which teachers book for their classes during school time and students may use before and after school for independent study.
