Year 9 Curriculum

9 A R T | 9 M O A

In Year 9 we offer two different courses, each one focussing on different media: painting, digital media, and 3D art making.

All students study the elements and principles of design as well as artworks made by Aotearoa New Zealand and international artists in order to learn about visual arts ideas and methods.

This learning underpins practical work however each student is encouraged to bring their own critical thinking skills and creativity to their project.
