The Building and Construction programme at Lynfield College is taught in conjunction with the BCITO and provides pre-apprenticeship trade training with Level 2 / 3 qualifications for the New Zealand building and construction industry.
Learning Outcomes:
Students gain practical and theoretical knowledge in construction skills.
They experience constructing studios, outdoor decks and skilled based furniture.
They develop skills working with others.
They will learn and demonstrate worksite safety practices.
Our carpentry programme helps meet the skills needed for the Building and Construction industry by facilitating learning in the classroom for student transition into the workplace.
